HEAVENBOUND: CALLING ALL WORSHIPERS

Image: sitting on a cloud plucking a harp. This is an image that most people will use to contend that Heaven is boring. I don't know about the clouds and harps, but there is going to be a party in the Throne Room and there won't be anyone taking a nap! We see the scene being played out in Revelation ch 4 complete with thunderings, lightnings and amazing creatures unlike any rock concert. The focal point, however is the Lord. 'You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power. For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.'

That's where the deceiver mars perfection. The created thing wants to exist for its own pleasure, worshiping the creature rather than the Creator. We were created to worship. The perfect object of worship is God the Creator. Worshipers of God will be at home in Heaven. And the rest?

I had a conversation with someone who believes in God and in Heaven and that she is going there. However, in this life, she pursues (worships?) something that won't be in Heaven and sets aside Jesus who is the Center. If the object of worship on earth is not present in Heaven-will the worshiper of that object be content there?
